Minnesota Lynx Activate Guard Tynesha Lewis

The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has activated guard Tynesha Lewis and placed forward Jacqueline Batteast (hyperextended left knee) on The Injured List.

Lewis is averaging 2.2 points and 7.0 minutes per game. Prior to coming to the Lynx, she played in 10 games for Charlotte and averaged 4.7 ppg and 2.0 rpg in 16.6 mpg before to being waived on July 6.

Batteast originally injured the knee on May 17. Per league rules, she must remain on the Injured List a minimum of three games.
