The combination of Coleman's size and skills allow her to be very adaptable on the court. At 6-1 with good ballhandling skills, superior outside shooting and the ability to take it inside and go up strong in the paint, she's incredibly difficult to defend. Coleman is one of the hardest-working and most focused players in the nation. A gold-medal winner with Team USA at the 2007 Pan American Games, she's continually taken her game to the next level and enters the 2009 WNBA Draft at the top of most draft lists because of that. Coleman has a WNBA body, is a fine shooter, rebounder (better than 7 rpg in each of her four seasons) and can pass (as of January 23, nearly 400 career assists). She knows how to score and will definitely provide some offensive fireworks for the team that drafts her come April.

She looked physically ready for the professional game from the moment she arrived at Maryland. Along with that, the work she did to reclaim her shooting touch after slumping as a sophomore is one example of a player who seems to have a plus work ethic. After playing alongside so much talent at Maryland, she may face questions about whether she can be a go-to scorer, although her range and ability off the dribble seem to suggest so.
